Work across product, experiments, and collaborations.
AiSL - AI-powered American Sign Language Learning
3D Avatar-Based Language Learning Tool
Built an AI tool that converts English sentences into ASL grammar and plays them back through a 3D avatar, prioritizing linguistic accuracy over word-for-word translation. Uses a retrieval-augmented LLM to generate proper ASL gloss, with playback controls for speed and looping. Developed with input from the Deaf community as an accessible educational prototype.
AR City Tracker - Live NYC & Toronto Experience
Vuforia Augmented Reality with Live APIs
Built an AR experience with two physical tracked cubes showing live time, weather, and flights for NYC and Toronto. When both cubes are visible, a plane animates between them. Pulls real-time data from Open-Meteo and OpenSky Network APIs, with environment lighting and cube colors responding to actual conditions.
Global Student Mobility Dashboard
Interactive D3 data visualization project
Built this interactive D3 dashboard to explore how countries send and receive international students over time. Curious about access to education around the world, and the question of whether studying abroad is a global opportunity or mostly a luxury for a smaller slice of the world.
Once Upon a Time - Character Network Analysis
TV Show Data Visualization & Text Analysis
Analyzed the first three seasons of "Once Upon a Time" to uncover storytelling patterns. The app visualizes which characters drive the story, what they're known for saying, how their relationships evolve, and how different settings (Storybrooke, Enchanted Forest, etc.) shape the narrative across 64 episodes.
Virtual Classroom VR Experience
Immersive Learning Environment for Meta Quest 3
Designed a virtual classroom for Meta Quest 3 that prioritizes comfort and creativity. Everything responds to player position—audio fades as you move away, avatars wave when you approach, objects rotate on command. Demonstrates how VR can transform learning spaces into something personal and playful.
311 Cincy - Cincinnati Service Requests Dashboard
Interactive Data Visualization & Temporal Analysis
Built a dashboard to explore Cincinnati's 311 service requests through interactive maps, timelines, and category filters. Focuses on flooding patterns but includes potholes, slippery streets, leaks, and more. Reveals how infrastructure problems cluster and evolve across the city.
Lazarus Links - 2nd Place PES Productivity Track
Siemens AI Agents PLM Hackathon
A chatbot application that revives dead links with a single-agent, multi-tool system. It detects dead links, replaces them with active alternatives, and keeps content accessible by embedding links in a vector database. The agent system can identify and update broken links, detect moved pages, and query cached content with its tools.
MentorLink
JPMorgan Chase & Co. Innovation Week Hackathon
Developed a concept for an internal mentorship app. Used React and Material UI for the front end and Python for the back end to simplify mentor-mentee matching and improve collaboration within the organization.
Future Connect - 1st Place
JPMorgan Chase & Co. Code For Good Hackathon
Built a readiness-tracking app for educators with dashboards, progress indicators, and a scalable schema. Partnered with Future Ready Five to shape milestone capture and educator workflows, then shipped a working demo under hackathon pressure.
NourishU
UC College of Engineering and Applied Science Innovation Challenge
Built a React Native wellness app to help users reach healthier lifestyles through personalized eating choices. Consolidates health and meal management into one platform. Includes personalized, cost-effective meal plans, a recipe library, and a smart shopping list. Future plans include integration with fitness trackers for daily activity sync.
Prototype for Autonomous Robot for Application in Mobile Thermal Depolymerization
Engineering Design & Thinking I & II
Over a 10-week build, programmed an EV3 robot in Python to detect and sort materials, navigate uneven terrain, and follow both continuous and dashed routes using sensors and actuators. Implemented PID control for precise movement and calibrated sensor thresholds for consistent classification across runs. Integrated LabVIEW instrumentation for tuning and validation, then iterated on wheel/gear ratios and sensor placement to improve stability on curves. Qualified for the final track both semesters and ranked in the top five teams each year.
